I am thrilled to bits to be one of this year’s winners in Maria Isakova Bennett‘s Individual Poet Journal Prize. It’s an honour to share this win alongside wonderful poets Will Kemp and Sarah Westcott. In 2017, Maria launched the handmade poetry journal Coast to Coast to Coast, publishing work by over 120 writers in more than 1200 hand-stitched journals.

My submission ‘Not Far From Ragged Kingdom’ will be published in spring 2025. And by published, I mean individually designed and hand-stitched – these are beautiful little artist’s books. I’m dizzied by the fact that Maria has asked me to think about what colours to choose!
